Independent Label Market Tomorrow

Excellent record market returns to Shoreditch in London. And no, you'll need to bring more cash than that

'Tis the season (to thoroughly expunge your bank account)! What better way to spend your Saturday than by heading along to Old Spitalfields Market in London for the Independent Label Market tomorrow, with the finest indie labels setting up shop for a pre-Christmas vinyl bonanza. The line-up grows every year, as the poster above bears testament, and as ever, there's a host of one-offs on the cards, plus artists turning up to lend a hand, DJ sets from label bosses and another partnership with the London Brewers' Market. We've got our eye on the limited edition gold NEHRUVIANDOOM cassettes on the Lex Records stall, the until-now out-of-print Marshall Allen/Sun Ra And His Arkestra In The Orbit Of Ra album at Strut, and the mighty, mighty plethora of goods at Mute, including the very final editions of their Mute Synth II, signed by Daniel Miller and John Richards no less.

Take a look at the featured labels above, while full details are over at the ILM website. Get there from 11 am, but ahead of that, whet your appetite with this playlist below:
