Aphex Twin Announces New Album

...and it's called SYRO

Well then... there is a new album from Aphex Twin on the way! Following the appearance of an Aphex-branded blimp in London this weekend, he just tweeted a link to this website. Accessed through the Tor browser, favoured tool of those seeking online anonymity, the title is revealed to be SYRO, and the site shows the track titles too:

There's also a rather startling image of Richard D. James himself (that one above), seemingly holding the artwork in front of his face. And, as FACT point out, it's Mr James' birthday! The record will be his first Aphex Twin LP since 2001's Drukqs and follows the release of his 1994 Caustic Window album earlier this year through a Kickstarter campaign. More details soon.
