Following the seismic excitement of the announcement that Scott Walker and Sunn O))) would be releasing an album together, we've now got full details of said album. Soused will be out on September 22 via 4AD and was recorded earlier this year in London. Sunn O)))'s core duo of Stephen O'Malley and Greg Anderson were joined by auxiliary member Tos Nieuwenhuizen, with Walker producing along with Peter Walsh, assisted by musical director Mark Warman.

Its origins began back when O'Malley approached Walker in 2008 about contributing vocals to their last album, Monoliths & Dimensions, the Quietus' 2009 album of the year. While Walker couldn't do so then, he came back to O'Malley with what would become Soused, a set of music he'd written with Sunn O))) in mind. We'll post more details as soon as we have them.
