Unsound have announced a second batch of artists for the 2014 edition of the festival in Kraków, Poland this October. The Bug, Robert Hood, Kassem Mosse, Karen Gwyer, Jam City, Mumdance & Pinch, Atom™ & Robin Fox, Craig Leon, Stine Motland, Dopplereffekt, Traxx, We Will Fail, Le Petit Garçon, Bjørn Torske, Transilvanian Galaxi, Skatebård, Wanda Group, Pharmakon and showcases from Diagonal Records and Berlin promoters Janus add to an already impressive line-up.

The Bug will be performing live with Flowdan, Manga and Miss Red, along with other collaborators from his new LP Angels & Devils, while Craig Leon will be performing his recently reissued 1981 album Nommus live with the Sinfonnietta Cracovia and Cassell Webb, also accompanied by newly-commissioned video work. Another Unsound first is the premiere of Double Vision, a collaboration between Atom™ & Robin Fox. The project "fuses laser, video, experimental sound and deconstructed forms of pop music", and came about after Atom™ was suitably impressed by Fox's performance at Unsound Adelaide. The Diagonal Records showcase will be headed by label boss Powell himself, along with Russell Haswell, Bronze Teeth and Evol. Playing at the showcase for Berlin promoters (and now record label) Janus are Total Freedom, M.E.S.H., Lotic, Kabam and Amnesia Scanner.

Each year, the festival's programme is based around a particular theme, with this year's being 'The Dream', understood as the life lived in a world "where self-expression and experience are increasingly mediated and commodified". Previously announced for the festival, which takes place at various venues in Kraków across October 12-19, are the likes of Ben Frost, Carter Tutti Void, Perc, Joey Anderson, Rrose, DJ Stingray and The Necks & Radian. Also at the festival will be Ephemera, an installation created in collaboration by Geza Schoen, Tim Hecker, Ben Frost, Kode9, Marcel Weber and Optigram. In addition, there will be a series of panel discussions hosted by the Quietus, the topics of which will be announced soon.
