Fuck Buttons' Benjamin Power contributing to score of The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears, screening at this year's event - have a listen to a preview below

Two summers ago, Benjamin Power of noisy electronics duo Fuck Buttons reached the ears of an estimated 900 million people after finding his way on to the London Olympics' opening ceremony soundtrack, with their rip-roaring noisegaze track 'Surf Solar'. This summer Power is set to contribute to another prestigious, London-based international event, albeit one on a much smaller scale, yet, depending on your point of view, no less important.

Working under his Blanck Mass guise, Power has curated and supplied a track to the original score of East End Film Festival 2014's screening of The Strange Colour Of Your Body's Tears, a "visually dazzling blood-soaked" flick made in Belgium, France and Luxembourg. Power has hand selected the likes of Helm, Moon Gangs, Konx-Om-Pax, Roll The Dice and C Spencer Yeh to assist him in ratcheting up the film's the blood and thunder. The pre-recorded score will be premiered alongside the film at the newly relaunched warehouse venue Red Gallery in Shoreditch on June 20. Hear a clip of the soundtrack above.

Meanwhile, EEFF is running a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise funds to support the festival in its first year as a totally independent Community Interest Company. If you're feeling generous, follow this link to view the campaign video on their Kickstarter page and pledge away.
