Blackest Ever Black's Dalhous take on Movement for L.A. band's forthcoming remix LP

Edinburgh two-some Dalhous have been at work remixing 'Movement' by Los Angeles' Bestial Mouths, who have kindly given given us a first play of the results - listen above. It transmutes the track's roiling drums, braying brass and terrifying lyrical invocations into a gorgeous, juddering swell, albeit one that loses none of the original's clear-eyed fury in the process. It's taken from Bestial Mouth's new album of remixes of their self-titled debut from last year - head here to get hold of it and take a look at their upcoming European tour dates, beginning on May 14 at Kuudes Linja in Helsinki, on Facebook.

The track's also an excellent way to prepare for Dalhous's forthcoming double LP Will To Be Well, due June 30, which you can pre-order here. The album, released via Blackest Ever Black, is set to the continue the duo's exploration of the life and arcana of R.D. Laing, and will be "less obviously eerie than its predecessor, [but] Dalhous's nose for the uncanny remains".
