Actress, Kelela, Floating Points, Mumdance and more at London and Nottingham festivals over the Bank Holiday

This weekend, promoters Dollop launch the inaugural edition of their new London festival, Elsewhere, running over Friday and Saturday, May 2-3, across East London venues Oslo, London Fields Brewery, Laundry and, ahem, elsewhere.

Headlining Friday is Actress, who released his excellent fourth album, Ghettoville, earlier this year (read our interview here), supported by appearances from Floating Points, Andy Blake and more. Watch the video for 'Our' at the foot of the piece.

Saturday sees a chance to catch Kelela, whose debut mixtape Cut 4 Me, melding pop and R&B sensibilities with spacious, stark electronic soundscapes, was one of tQ's favourite records of last year, and she may well be bringing out a few tracks from her upcoming debut album at her Oslo set - take a listen to her most recent material, 'Want It', also below. Also on the bill for Saturday are Mumdance, Leon Vynehall, Ryan Hemsworth, Chainless and more; head to Facebook for tickets here.

A few of the acts will be heading north to Nottingham on Sunday, May 4, for Elsewhere's sister festival, Everywhere, now in its second year. Kelela, Floating Points, Vynehall and others will join a host of acts, including Hudson Mohawke and Skream, at venues around the city. Again, tickets are available via Facebook and head to Dollop's website for full details.
