Tomorrow, Experiencing Nirvana, a new exhibition of photography of the band will open at Proud Camden gallery in London. It collects together work by Steve Double and Charles Peterson, two of the most prolific photographers of the grunge scene, and marks the twentieth anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain.

Peterson has previously published a book of his grunge photography, Touch Me I'm Sick, while Double's work is partly the product of spending five days in Nirvana's touring van. The exhibition also coincides with the publication of Experiencing Nirvana: Grunge in Europe, 1989, a photo journal of Nirvana's first European tour by Bruce Pavitt, founder of Sub Pop, the band's label.

Experiencing Nirvana by Charles Peterson and Steve Double runs at Proud Camden from March 27 - May 11; head to the gallery's website for full details
