Downbeat auteur offers taster of forthcoming album with new song

Cheval Sombre, aka New York-based artist Christopher Porpora, whose magnificently woozy album Mad Love was a true highlight of 2012, has embarked on the journey towards a new record with the release of a special limited edition 7", 'It's Not Time'.

The (extremely) limited edition release comes courtesy of small Australian label Slightly Delic. On the flip of 'It's Not Time' is 'It's A Shame', an early demo of the first track from Porpora's self-titled 2009 debut album. The 7" is available on lime green black splatter vinyl (150 copies) and regular black vinyl (100 copies). It is available via mail order from Slightly Delic's Melbourne headquarters, while distribution in the UK is handled by Sonic Cathedral, and is for sale through their online store, as well as through Piccadilly Records and Norman Records. Have a watch of a teaser clip for the release above.
