Fresh off the back of Slowdive's return, Neil Halstead is set to release a new EP with Black Hearted Brother, his trio with Mark Van Hoen and Nick Holton, out via Sonic Cathedral, who released BHB's ace debut Stars Are Our Home last year. Got Your Love is out on March 31, and comes with a brand new track, 'Don't Take The Weight', alongside two remixes of the title track - "the poppiest song on the album with a huge kick drum, big guitars & Neil's catchy melody," says Holton - from Ultramarine and Ricardo Tobar, techno producer, shoegaze fan and Escape Velocity interviewee. And since it's Valentine's Day readers, here's our very own sonic cupid's arrow, albeit one with cosmically burbling synths, spidery synths and Halstead's vocals, warped almost beyond recognition, attached - to your heart, a first spin of the latter - listen below, and get hold of the EP from Sonic Cathedral on release:
