First play of track from forthcoming debut EP, This Could Be A Bridge

London duo Post Louis will be releasing their debut EP, This Could Be A Bridge, next week, November 12, via Inflated/Stare Records. They've already posted three of the record's tracks on their SoundCloud, but today we're excited to premiere the final cut, 'Pharma' - have a listen below:

Bright, disjointed vocal melodies, stop-start clashes and outright urgency bring to mind Isn't Anything-era MBV, before a frenzied squall of a guitar break rears up midway through. Best of all, and pointed up at the end, the track hits home the band's ability to take a song whole and degrade it brilliantly, fraying its edges with buzz saw distortion and hazing lyrics to the point of just-heard fragments. Add in that, at a little over two-and-a-half-minutes, it's another facet to the band, ran alongside the lengthier might of the title track and the slow burn of 'Oldsmobile', forming a debut EP that makes for essential listening this year.

They're just back after a European tour supporting Porcelain Raft and will be curating and playing a one-off date at London's Sebright Arms on December 8; get hold of tickets for that date here and pre-order the vinyl from Stare Records' website.
