Music line-up of Tilburg festival completed by much-loved ambient and techno artists

As we've been reporting across the past few months, the line-up for Tilburg's Incubate Festival has been growing into a rather magnificent beast, with an eclectic selection including Immortal, CocoRosie, Front 242, 809 State, A Guy Called Gerald, Wolf Eyes, Ikonika, Kyle Hall, Levon Vincent, Built To Spill, White Hills, Prurient, Hieroglyphic Being and many more. The full line-up can be viewed here.

Now they've announced the final two additions to the music line-up for this year's festival, which takes place from 16th-22nd September in Tilburg, Netherlands, both of whom will be joining Tim Hecker in Tilburg Theatre Hall on Saturday September 21st for an ambient electronic showcase. Kompakt's The Field will be playing an ambient set using a set-up of analogue electronics, while Norway's pioneer of immersive ambient techno Biosphere will also be playing. In addition, Biosphere will be spending a week prior to the festival on an organic farm near Tilburg called 't Schop, where he will be making field recordings "with the aim of creating a new limited edition record".

With the line-up complete they've now released full timetables for the week-long festival, which can be viewed at the festival's website. The Quietus will once again be media partners, so expect to see various members of Quietus staff wandering around the festival seeking out suitably harsh, stern musical experiences.
