London label Left Blank have announced that their latest release will come from Saa, a new project by Old Apparatus' Asher Levitas and Norwegian musician/vocalist Linn Carin Dirdal. The duo's debut self-titled EP is set for release on 12" vinyl and digital download next week, 8th July, but in advance of its official release date we're pleased to be able to offer a full stream of the EP for your listening pleasure.

Across the last couple of years, Levitas' work with Old Apparatus has bridged the boundaries between electronic disciplines, drawing in aspects of collage and musique concrete, sound system music, sludgy industrial and noise. (You can read our interview and listen to a mix from the crew, who recently released their debut album-of-sorts, here.) The Saa EP, however, is turned more towards hazy, sumptuous electronic pop in an early 4AD vein, accompanied by multitracked, heavily effected vocals from Dirdal that wheel and dive around one another.
