Graphic novel writer Alan Moore, best known for his work on V For Vendetta, The Watchmen and The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen is teaming up with photographer/director Mitch Jenkins once again to produce the fifth and final part of their short film series about the neo-noir world of Jimmy's End, and have set up a Kickstarter campaign to dunf the film.

£45,000 needs to be raised to get His Heavy Heart off the ground and you can head over to its Kickstarter page to donate - there are a number of rewards including t-shirts, DVDs and even film credits depending on how much money you pledge.

You can watch the first two parts of the series, here. The collaboration marks the first time that Alan Moore has written anything specifically for the screen and these films serve as a prelude to a feature length production entitled The Show which will delve further into the world of Jimmy's End.

For more information on the project, such as its inspirations and the working dynamics of Moore and Jenkins' partnership, you can read an interview we conducted with Jenkins last year here.
