Say what you want about his globally gargantuan whumping, the lad clearly has a pretty broad range of music in his record bag (are you sure he has one of those? Young Person Fact Check Ed), and some of the more reflective sounds that inspired him can be heard in new track 'Leaving', which can be heard above. Skrillex goes British! Good Lord! Must have been that hanging around in Dalston last year. Somewhat predictably, the YouTube comments are full of bile & lunacy. Another track from the Leaving EP can be heard below - this one ought to satisfy any 13-year-olds about to dial the "where's the drop?" helpline after the first one:

meanwhile there's a new Broadcast soundtrack out there. oh but the quietus are too busy talking about this to care. I thought this website was about alternative, left-field leaning music?

The soundtrack doesn't come out until next week. In the mean time you could try damping down your insane iration by reading our interview with Peter Strickland about Berberian Sound Studio. Simply type any combination of those key words into the search function.
