Angolan/Portugese DJ Batida is headlining a night co-run by Tourism and charity Freedom From Torture at the New Empowering Church in Hackney this Friday, December 7.

While his live show is usually marked by a cavalcade of dancers, percussionists and visuals of Angolan street life, he'll be telescoping it down especially for this one-off show - have a listen to 'Alegria' below for a taste of what to expect:

He'll be joined by Frikstailers, making only their second live outing in the UK following a Boiler Room set the night before, Zuzuka Poderosa, bringing her 'Carioca Bass' turn on baile funk and Tourism DJs.

The night starts at 10 pm and tickets are £10; for more details head here.
