TV On The Radio and Deerhunter to curate in May and June

All Tomorrow's Parties have announced that, contrary to last year's suggestion that they planned to stop their springtime festivals in order to concentrate on the Christmas editions, they are to hold two festivals in spring/summer 2013 at Camber Sands. They follow on from two ATPs at Christmas, curated by The National and Shellac respectively, and which are now sold out.

The first weekend will take place from May 10th-12th, and will be curated by Brooklyn genre-skirters TV On The Radio. Says the band's Tunde Adebimpe, "We are so excited to be doing this. We had so much fun playing ATP some years ago that to be able to come back and curate is a dream realised."

The second weekend takes place from June 21st-23rd, and will be curated by Deerhunter. The band will play three different sets across the weekend, each a performance of one of their albums in full (Cryptograms, Microcastle and Halcyon Digest will all be getting the Don't Look Back treatment). Say the band: "ATP has been a part of our lives as Deerhunter for many years now and it's a great honour to be asked to curate."

Further bands for both weekends are to be announced soon.

Tickets are £180 per person (as usual block booking for chalets is the order of the day). You can get them from here, from 10am this Thursday morning (20th September).
