OFF Festival, one of Europe’s best, is continuing to get better, adding yet another raft of acts to its line-up. As well as Metronomy (above), The Antlers and Andy Stott, the organisers have also got High Places, Bardo Pond, Mikołaj Trzaska and Beneficjenci Splendoru.
These new names are in addition to a bill that already includes Battles, Thurston Moore, Iggy & The Stooges, Suicide, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, Kurt Vile, Kim Gordon & Ikue Mori, Baroness, Norowska, Kanał Audytywny/Akron Family, Megafaun, Afro Kolektyw, Matthew Herbert, Africa HiTech, Converge, Fennesz and Forest Swords.
And that’s not to mention the Quietus-curated day on the Experimental Stage, featuring Alva Noto and Blixa Bargeld performing together as anbb, Colin Stetson, Shabazz Palaces, Container and Josh T. Pearson.
The OFF Festival is running from 3rd-5th August in Katowice, Poland. Weekend tickets are still available, and if you haven’t bought yours yet, head over here quick sharp.
