I'll Be Your Mirror Tokyo postponed due to low ticket sales

All Tomorrow's Parties have announced that I'll Be Your Mirror Tokyo, which was originally scheduled to run on 14th-15th April, has been postponed until late 2012.

The event, slated to be curated by ATP and Jim O'Rourke (pictured), was due to feature O'Rourke himself, Factory Floor, Nisennenmondai, Tony Conrad & Charlemagne Palestine, a reformed Codeine and more.

"We are very sorry to have to announce that on the advice of our Japanese partners Creativeman this year's I'll Be Your Mirror Tokyo event will be rescheduled to later in 2012," runs the announcement on the ATP site.

The postponement was, they state, due to poor ticket sales in comparison to last year's edition of the festival, and also because "unfortunately some artists we were attempting to book were not able to commit to the event to make it the success we and Creativeman feel it should be. At the moment it will not be financially possible to run the event."

Although the new dates have not yet been announced, ATP have stated that they will let ticketholders know "very soon". Existing ticketholders will have their tickets automatically transferred for the rescheduled dates, but ATP promise a refund to people unable to attend the new festival.
