The second of Polar Bear bandleader's singles club finds him in collaboration with Leo Abrahams

As we announced in January, Polar Bear drummer/bandleader and man of many musical outlets (and huge hair) Seb Rochford has started a new digital singles club. Each month, Days & Nights At The Takeaway finds him collaborating with another artist, for a session recorded in Rochford's studio - formerly a takeaway restaurant, hence the snappy title.

The latest edition was released at the end of February and features Rochford working with London composer/guitarist/producer Leo Abrahams. The track, entitled 'Faint Eligible Remains', is a dark and stormy affair, all droning electronics, piano and guitar. To accompany it is a remix from Polar Bear/Acoustic Ladyland saxophonist Pete Wareham, which further abstracts the original into a scrambled radio transmission of a track. You can listen to both and buy them at Rochford's Takeaway site, or via the embed below.
