Classic Rock act The Darkness are giving away a new song 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us' to say thanks to their fans.

This will be the first time the band have released new material since 2006 and was encouraged by sell out tours in America and the UK.

The track will be available to download for free from 2pm via the Darkness website on the day that the band kick off their American tour.

By coincidence, 1st February is also the date The Darkness begin their first North American tour since 2004; starting with a sold out show at Toronto's Phoenix venue.

They have also announced appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival on Sunday June 24 (headlining the Big Top Stage) and play Thetford Forest on the Saturday July 14. More UK dates and album news as we receive it.
