Retox To Tour UK This Week

Ipecac-signed thrashers to play four dates this week

Hardcore/punk crew Retox, who signed to Mike Patton's Ipecac label for their latest album Ugly Animals, are touring the UK this week.

'Supergroup' is a rather depressing term, conjuring as it does images of rock stars pushing their music to bloated new excesses. Though their members have previously played in The Locust, Holy Molar, All Leather, Rats Eyes, Swing Kids and more, Retox are an exception to that rule. Expect scorching guitar work and throat-shredding vocals, all, as the band say, "an outcome of stagnant and boring Western culture".

NOVEMBER
22nd - Birmingham, Flapper
23rd - Bristol, Croft
24th - Leeds, The Well
25th - London, Camp Basement
