Quietus Mix 36: Arnaud Rebotini's Stern Strobing
Luke Turner , July 8th, 2011 08:50

Arnaud Rebotini gets ready for 1234 Festival with a mix of electronic misanthropy

Whether as one half of Black Strobe or in his own material (see his excellent Someone Gave Me Religion LP of earlier this year), Arnaud Rebotini has always had a taste for electronic music of a dark and brutal hue. Hell, you only have to look at his press shots to know that this is a man with a true penchant for the stern. So it's with great pleasure that, the day before he DJs the 1234 Festival, we present a mix of the finest EBM and dark electronics that does the hate dance from Front 242 to Severed Heads and Ministry to Night Moves. Arnaud plays 1234 at 20:00 tomorrow night, and we're told to expect new Black Strobe material and a vintage synth tour of Someone Gave Me Religion soon.
