We in Quietus HQ are big fans of the mighty British Sea Power, so we're happy to report they've made a new track from their forthcoming album available to download.

You can listen to 'Living Is So Easy' by clicking here.

The track is taken from the band's new album Valhalla Dancehall, which will be released on January 10. The band say of the song: "'Living Is So Easy' features electronic keyboards, some Louis Vuitton and clay pigeons. It’s a mixture of Serge Gainsbourg and Ralf and Florian era Kraftwerk with a sprinkle of Stock, Aitken and Waterman. It’s our most electronic song to date, but it’s not doom 1980s electronica. This is the high life."

British Sea Power's latest newsboost goes on to say the following: "The lyrics to Living Is So Easy take in all-star clay-pigeon shoots, alongside low thrills in the high-rise towers. With the Olympic Trap clay-pigeon competition tipped to be a MASSIVE hit at the 2012 London Games, it seems British Sea Power are once again leading the cultural agenda.

"Come 2012 and the full onset of clay fever, one and all will be reclining on fully adjustable shooting sticks and mixing sexy 12-gauge bandolier belts with must-have Cath Kidston kiddies cartridge cosies. One things for certain, only a fool will be mistaking a rabbit for a nested pair. The former, of course, a target that rolls and bounces across the ground, sometimes leaping into the air when it becomes known as a flying rabbit. The latter when two targets are thrown at once, a mini under a regular, all the better to simulate a young bird and her mum."
