We only have one copy up for grabs, so make sure you're quick off the mark. Below, you can see a trailer for the film, as well as a message from our competition organisers below.

American: The Bill Hicks Story finally brings the amazing life-story of one of modern culture’s most iconic heroes to wider public attention.

Its theatrical release saw it become one of the top 2 theatrical docs of the year, and with acclaimed reviews from critics and audience alike, American is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.

Much more than a comedian, Bill Hicks has become an iconic inspiration to millions. Performing from a young age, he developed a unique and fearless style that turned convention on its head, opening up new ways of thinking. In 1993, at the age of 32 and on the verge of wider Stateside success, Bill fell ill with terminal cancer; but his timeless comedy has lived on, and still resonates today with ever growing numbers of people around the world.

The amazing extras package not only makes this release a must have for any Hicks fan, but also allows the wider audience into the deeper aspects of Bill’s story. Over 3 hours of extended interviews with his family and friends offer up-close personal recollections of who Bill was and what motivated him. Also on the two disc set are never-seen-before rare clips, featurettes and deleted scenes along with an exclusive 16 page collector’s booklet. To be in with a chance of getting your hands on this must-have item for any Hicks fan, all you have to do is answer this simple question:

At what age did the young Bill Hicks start performing?

A) 9

B) 13

C) 18
