The Quietus , June 24th, 2010 14:13

Estimable London imprints Merok and House Anxiety will pair next week to celebrate the launch of new releases from Blondes and Ghost Hunter.

Both acts will appear live at The Garage in North London on Wednesday, 30th June. A stellar line-up’s completed by DJ sets on the night from Brackles, Braiden, C Powers and reps from both labels.

Complimentary booze flows from 8pm courtesy of Kopparberg, and those wishing to attend should RSVP to houseanxiety AT gmail DOT com.

The releases in question? Ghost Hunter’s ‘Island Barbados’ – an elusive, shimmering workout in tropical bass – arrives on the 26th of July through House Anxiety.

Blondes’ Touched EP is released on the 28th of July. Given past form, it is bound to be breathtaking.

Find words on both acts here and here, and a patiently blissful, emollient Ghost Hunter remix of Blondes’ ‘You Mean So Much To Me’ below.
