It's our pleasure to bring you another installment of the Quietus Radio Show for your listening pleasure. We'd love to say that it's work friendly but as the producer told John afterwards: "It's not best practice to use the C and the F word in one sentence. It's only 11 in the morning."

And not everyone will be up for hearing 'Staring At You Through Tears Of Urine' by Gnaw Their Tongues but elsewhere the plateau of extreme righteousness is constructed from the twin delights of I Like Trains' 'Sea Of Regrets' and Merry Clayton's sublime 'Gimme Shelter'.

We have new music from The Mary Onettes, Bomb Factory, LCD Soundsystem, Royal Bangs, The King Midas Sound, MF Doom, Githead, Slagsmalskluben, Esben and the Witch, Yoko Ono, Joker, Vowels, Charlotte Hatherley, Rammstein as well as Ghanian highlife, Sonic Youth, Flowered Up, The Fall and The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

And our guests include Paddy Considine talking about Guided by Voices and Billy Childish talking about the Chatham Dockyard and a particularly bracing Luke's Daft Moment that includes a death threat, interpol (the international organisation not the band that sound like the Chameleons) and an ABBA tribute group.
