Ronnie Rocket
Until Inglourious Basterds was finally made and released, Quentin Tarantino fans may have feared that this fascinating project would be the director’s eternal “one that got away.” David Lynch fans know the feeling.
Ronnie Rocket was the script Lynch wrote after Eraserhead and, thirty-something years later, it seems pretty likely that it will never be anything more than that. You can read it online and it’s as weird as you'd expect but there will almost certainly never be any way of knowing just how bizarre the finished project would have been. That’s what dreams and nightmares are for.
