The Quietus is off to Green Man this weekend, so we thought we'd leave you with a playlist of our favourite music from the festival

As you read this, the Quietus is sitting in a mystic fun bus en route to the Green Man Festival in the vale of Crickhowell, South Wales. Or we might be there. Or we might be up the summit of Sugar Loaf mountain. Or perhaps we'll be discussing butter with Hawkwind, basking shark hunting methods with British Sea Power, or salmon fishing on the River Usk with Roky Erickson. Or at least, we might be thinking we are.

Anyway, over the past few years, Green Man has emerged from being a small affair of a few hundred people enjoying folk from groups that usually involved Adem (if you see the Quietus at Green Man, stop us to ask about our being ejected from a bonfire party for complaining about his rather indulgent busker set) to become one of the best festivals of the summer. Alright, so it being in Wales means there's generally a fair bit of rain, but we hope that this year's employment of a druidic ceremony might keep the clouds away.

We've put together a Spotify playlist of some of our favourite artists from this year's festival, have a look at the tracklist and click here to listen.
