Corrupted
Prolific Japanese doom kids Corrupted play their first ever UK show at Supersonic, and an unexpected revelry ensues: a glorious, sensually absorbing surf of noise, textured as much by vocals as by the delicious interplay of guitar sounds, and heralded by a glorious, sensually absorbing crowdsurfer (Runhild Gammelsaeter of Thorr's Hammer, in a cameo role as every music fan's dream goddess). Consummate, mysterious, poisonously gorgeous, and all the sweeter for the waiting. PD
