Kate Moss has ruined the only existing copies of new songs penned by her boyfriend Jamie Hince's band The Kills.

Moss threw his bag into a swimming pool, not realising it contained a laptop with six copies of new tracks by The Kills.

Hince plunged into the pool to try and retrieve the tunes, but his Baywatch-style rescue attempt was to no avail.

A source told The Daily Mirror: “Jamie was absolutely livid and kept yelling, ‘Why would you do such a fucking stupid thing?! You’re acting like a fishwife!”

The rock 'n' roll couple appeared to have since kissed and made up, though, with the source revealing: "After much grovelling from Kate, they kissed and made up – and even saw the funny side of it. Kate’s buying him a new computer.”
