Secret Headliner To Play After ATP Film Premiere

Scottish band to play concert at Edinburgh Picturehouse

A special concert will follow the premiere of the new ATP film later this month.

The plainly named ‘All Tomorrow’s Parties’ — described as a “kaleidoscopic journey into the parallel musical universe of the cult music festival” — will make its onscreen debut at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on June 24th.

Composed of footage shot by over 200 filmmakers, fans and musicians during ATP’s recent history, the picture’s screening will be followed by ‘The Night of Musical Delights’, presented by Future Cinema and Warp X.

The Night of Musical Delights will transform Edinburgh Picturehouse into something akin to a 1950s Holiday Camp — which means midnight bingo, people dancing to Northern Soul and a ‘Lovely Legs’ competition.

Also making an appearance on the night will be Belle and Sebastian’s Chris Geddes, who’ll DJ before a secret Scottish band play a headline set.

For more information on who that might be, stay alert to Future Cinema’s Twitter Feed in the lead up to the event.

Tickets are available here, either as a combination or separately for both the screening and the after concert.
