Yes, it's a remake of Heaven Can Wait, a film that was probably vapid enough itself to have qualified for this list, but at least Warren Beatty is a real movie star. Chris Rock may be one of the funniest stand-ups in the history of the form but his charms have never translated to film. In two-dimensions, alongside sets and extras, he's just an obnoxious arse-hole. Who could possible root for him to come back to life?
