Planet of the Apes Bigfoot film?

One of the most famous pieces of evidence that Bigfoot walks among us was the 1967 film by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin. Rumour has it that the costume we see was actually made by John Chambers, who just happened to be busy making very similar bits of garb for a little film called Planet of the Apes that same year. A man by the name of Heironimus (and what a name!) later claimed that he was hired to don the suit. Despite years of debate, Harry from Harry and the Hendersons has a more convincing gait that this missing-link's swagger.
