Scientists show what Doors font man would have looked like if he were still alive.

Today marks what would be Jim Morrison’s 65th birthday, had he not died of a heart attack in Paris at the age of just 27.

In recognition of this, researchers at St Andrews University have used computer aging technology to create an image showing what iconic, and long dead, Doors singer would have looked like if he were still around to collect his free bus pass.

Reports from the BBC show how scientists have used the technology to produce and image of a 65 year old Morrison showing changes in his skin, hair line and hair colour.

This is not the first time that science has helped bring an iconic figure back from the dead, as previous stars to get the ‘what they’d look like if they were alive to day’ treatment include Elvis, John Lennon, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe.
