Performances at several summer festivals including headline slots at Underage/Field Day have seen the band's stock skyrocket, placing them at number eight in the international chart of bands named after animals.

After decades of entropy caused by groups such as The Eagles and The Beatles hogging the upper reaches, the top ten has been shook up violently by newer acts such as Panda Bear and Deerhunter.

The chart needs new blood to appear relevant and groups such as Foals and Wolf Eyes are helping to heal the rift created in the musical community when Mastodon were barred from inclusion.
