A few years ago, the initial slew of singles by Sheffield guitar pop tarts The Long Blondes were among the finest 7" singles in recent times: sharp, catchy, and brewing over with witty insouciance.
Now the band are to release a compilation album of said tracks on October 20th, and by heck if it isn't a reminder of how great they were back in the day. The tracklist runs as follows:
*'New Idols' *'Long Blonde' *'Autonomy Boy' *'Giddy Stratospheres' *'Polly' *'Darts' *'Appropriation (By Any Other Name)' *'My Heart Is Out Of Bounds' *'Lust In The Movies' *'Separated By Motorways' *'Big Infatuation' *'Peterborough'
